What started as a simple passion project providing resources for migrant people became a full-fledged mission in 2018. Leading this mission is Andrea Morris-Rudnik, a Doane Stuart School alumna (’78) and Hobart and William Smith College alumna (’82).

In the Midst of an Upstate Winter, ICE Moves In
On Friday, January 23rd, New York’s Capitol Building was met with over a hundred protesters. In the freezing weather, Upstate residents gathered to collectively denounce the growing presence of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the Capital Region and across the nation.

Careful! You Might Get Cancelled–Or Worse: Censored!
Since the dawn of civilization, the freethinker’s greatest threat has always been censorship. Whether it be Socrates’s execution, the Alien and Sedition Acts, Parental Advisory labels (though that can be easily debated), or book bans, censorship is both a common and controversial topic.
Today, more than before, censorship is affecting Americans, as well as individuals across the globe, who previously did not expect it.
